The District serves
a population area in excess of one million residents and is headquartered
adjacent to the Fresno City College campus in central Fresno. The
District operates two community colleges, Fresno City College and
Reedley College. Also part of the District are SCCCD Madera Center,
Clovis Center, Oakhurst Center and the Vocational Training Center
in southwest Fresno. Classes are also offered at additional satellite
campuses in Kerman, Selma, Sanger and Easton.

We
invite you to visit our websites for the Clovis, Madera and Oakhurst
Education Centers of State Center Community College District. These
three centers are commonly known as the North Centers and are committed
to serving the educational needs of people in the communities in
which they are located. The faculty and staff provide our students
with the opportunity to attend college classes in a setting that
is committed to helping each student succeed.
The
North Centers are currently attached to Reedley College for the
purposes of accreditation. In the future, the Madera Center
will become the next college in the State Center Community College
District. Students at the North Centers can fulfill their
general education requirements for transfer to a four-year institution
or select from a variety of occupational programs. Distance
learning courses are an important part of our program in order to
provide additional instructional opportunities for students.
We
