State Center Community College District is a Merit System school district. This means that we are required to follow procedures as outlined in the Education Code of the State of California. Additionally, we have a union contract with the California School Employees Association, which also affects the manner in which we fill classified positions.

When we recruit for a position, our job announcements are advertised in the following sources:  The Fresno Bee, The Reedley Exponent, The Madera Tribune, our website, the California Community College Job Registry website, the Higher Education Jobs website, and at all District locations.

If you are interested in a classified position with us, we ask that you call our receptionist at (559) 226-0720, and request an application packet be forwarded to you. Generally, the application packet for classified positions includes a District application and a supplemental application pertinent to the position.
