Oftentimes certain blocks of text are repeated on District publications. Some of these are required, depending on the type of publication. Here are the official versions of repeating text elements.
When listing two or more SCCCD educational sites in your text, make sure to order them according to the official educational site lising.
The official educational site listing with signature line is a required text element for all District-specific print advertising. It should be placed along the same horiztonal plane as the logo, or directly below the logo (see examples below). Exceptions to this policy must be approved by the SCCCD Public & Legislative Relations office.

For many District publications, such as press releases, it is customary to end with a general statement about the District. Below is the accepted boilerplate description of SCCCD.
State Center Community College District’s enhanced network of educational centers serve a population of more than one million people. Since 1964 SCCCD has helped students succeed, strengthened the community, and prepared graduates for the workforce. SCCCD operates two community colleges, Fresno City College and Reedley College, as well as several educational and training centers including, the Willow International Center, the Madera Center, the Oakhurst Center, the Career & Technology Center, and the Training Institute. Classes are also offered at additional satellite campuses in Dinuba, Easton, Fowler, Kerman, Kingsburg, Orange Cove, Parlier, Sanger, and Selma.
