Official stationery promotes a strong unified image for both internal and external documents. Consistent design makes a District-wide correspondence immediately recognizable, while decreasing long-term stationery costs.
Communications written on SCCCD stationery send a powerful message about our District and about the author of the letter. Although each educational site has its own unique identity, District-wide letterhead and envelopes must maintain a basic, standard layout.
All letterhead is printed on white, letterhead quality paper (measuring 8.5 by 11 inches) with matching No. 10 envelopes. Blank second sheets in matching paper are acceptable for documents with multiple pages. The State Center Community College District logo and signature is printed on the top of the page, followed by the address, telephone number, FAX number, and SCCCD web address. The bottom of the page contains the official site listing and the wording “EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER.” These lines are centered and located 1/4 of an inch from the bottom of the page.
State Center Community College District’s official envelopes have the SCCCD logo placed in the top left corner. Directly to the right of the logo is the SCCCD signature and address. This portion of the layout is on three lines and is left justified. On District envelopes proper wording for return service is “Return Services Requested.”
Business cards are often a person’s first introduction to SCCCD. For this reason all business cards must be consistent with each other and with official stationery. State Center Community College District’s business cards will list all the educational sites below its name. These two lines are centered on the card. The SCCCD logo is in the top left corner. The top right corner lists the employee name and title or position. These two lines are also centered. The bottom center of the card lists the contact information: address, telephone number, FAX number, and employee’s email address.
To ensure quality and consistency, the Print Shop in the Print Media & Communication department at Fresno City College is recommended for all stationery materials.
