State Center Community College
District offers a rich educational opportunity for the international
student. With over 200 areas of study and an affordable tuition
rate, international students can graduate from one of our colleges
or centers with a certificate of completion or an associate degree.
International students may also transfer to a four-year university
after completing their transfer requirements at SCCCD.
SCCCD offers international students the experience of a large
college at Fresno City College with an enrollment of 20,000, or a
small campus experience with a rural environment at Reedley College,
as well as opportunities for classes at our other centers.

Fresno City College
Founded in 1910, Fresno City College was the first community college
in California. Over 200 international students attend Fresno City
College per year from countries such as Japan, Indonesia, Korea,
India, Taiwan, Thailand, China, Egypt, Lebanon, Qatar, and Canada.
Popular majors include Business, Information Systems (IS), Graphic
Design, Accounting, Engineering, Criminology, Psychology,
Communication Arts/Journalism, and Nursing. International students
take advantage of many student services at Fresno City College such
as athletics, cultural clubs, health services, the honors program,
and more.
Reedley College
Located near the Sierra Nevada Mountain Range and the Kings River,
Reedley College offers a range of educational opportunities from traditional
classrooms and science laboratories, to state-of-the-art training
facilities. International students show special interest in Reedley
College for its outstanding programs in aviation, forestry, and agriculture.
Reedley College offers unique hands-on opportunities. A 20,000 square-foot
aviation hanger houses one of only 18 certified aviation maintenance
programs in California, a 600-acre forest at Sequoia Lake poses a
challenge for forestry students, and a 300-acre farm provides an outdoor
classroom for agriculture students. For more information contact
